Mission Statement
Our mission is to empower youth with education, technological support and motivation. The organization will provide an environment that will encourage self-discipline, responsibility, and commitment to becoming a positive influence in the community. It is very important to provide every possible tool that will help the youths to develop and maximize their given potentials for the betterment of themselves and the society.

Is the founder of Forward Bound Youth Empowerment.Tony also loves our Lord and serves Him. Tony is a retired math teacher from CNM. Happily married with two children.

Peggy Brock

Peggy was raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico and a graduate of Valley High School. Peggy worked as a dental assistant for 6 years before adopting seven children. Peggy earned a BBA in Accounting from UNM. Peggy started employment at CNM, then TVI, as a Math Instructional Technicician, in time becoming a Part-time and then full-time Math Instructor. Peggy retired from CNM after 23 years to care for her brother. Peggy is excited to be on the board for Forward Bound Youth Empowerment and anxious to see what God has in store for FBYE!

Gabe Flores
President
Gabe was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is 25 years old and is very passionate about equipping people with the neccessary tools to help them live a satisfying life. He genuinly believes that every person has room for improvement and is determined to find out what that is. Gabe has a leadership mindset and is currently teaching people how to lead as well.

Nina Martinez
Board Member
Resident of Albuquerque for 30 years. Graduated from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Currently, works at HP Inc. as an Inside Account Manager. Nina is the Vice President and Treasurer on the Tender Love Community Center Board and enjoys working with the community.

Kimberly Woodley
Board Member
Mrs. Woodley has dedicated her life to service. She has served as a US Army Reservist, banker, sales associate and waitress. Her final destination was education. Mrs. Woodley has served our children in Albuquerque for more than 30 years as a teacher, adult mentor and principal. She is a wife, mother and grandmother who believes in being a lifelong learner. Her motto is, ‘Do not close doors by limiting your education’. Currently, she is a retired principal, and has returned to work as an interventionist. She is honored to be able to serve the FYBE community and to share her passion for learning and help another generation of learners.
